more than simply a subjective, timeless list, this is simply a list of songs that, at one point or another in my life, i have considered to be one of the best individual songs i have ever heard. some of them are added far after their most effectual moment to me, some are added by the end of their first listen. for that special distinction of that first listen striking gold, i'll add a special indicator [🪙]; still, all songs here are incredibly important.
