everything is up to interpretation, most certainly this. but so much of this 149 minute slog is loosely entangled and tripping over itself trying to achieve some greatest version of that, and it falters so much because of it, because of a willingness to constantly create new feelings in unseen spaces, and having nothing allow itself to be reigned in or controlled—despite that immense amount of material and its beautiful cinematography.
